Project Consultant

Asian, Woman, Hardworking, Practical, Optimistic

Keeping projects on track with grace and efficiency is Mary Ngo to a tee.Mary joined the Be Equitable team as a Project Consultant and her impact was instantly felt for our clients. In her role, Mary is responsible for serving as a liaison to clients, managing the day-to-day activities. She also knows that relationships matter when you’re building community and spends time investing in not only getting to know our clients on a deeper level, but even our own team. That extra step is how she is able to see through any problem that arises and find a quick solution to remedy it. Her philosophy at Be Equitable is that work should be done with integrity – to people, mission, strategy, and policies and processes. Mary is drawn to IDEA work because she wants to make the world a better place for her children and she enjoys doing that one client at a time.

What belief took you the longest to unlearn?

It is still a work in progress, but the belief in perfection – the perfect career, the perfect family, etc. – is one thing that has taken me the longest to unlearn.

Do you think people can really change?

Yes! I think that people really can change, but it takes conscious effort and time.

Cook Ross is now BE Equitable

These past few years have been incredibly tumultuous and evolving, where we have witnessed how complex and messy our world is.

In a world of tick-a-box trainings and quick fixes, we at Be Equitable are going after something more satisfying -- we’re here for the transformations. For the forward thinkers and future leaders who know the journey is long and are still ready, we see you and we want to partner with you.

Let’s go beyond the buzzwords to create workplaces that work for people of all races, ethnicities, identities, and abilities. It won’t be neat. And it certainly won’t be simple. Our BE team is ready and committed to get it done.

As we enter this next chapter of our story, we invite you to BE bold, BE inclusive, and BE authentic to the vision you have for yourself and your organization. And together we can create workplaces that are just and equitable for all.
