Our Approach

The Train the Trainer (TTT) program at Be Equitable equips learners with the tools they need to deliver impactful introductory learning experiences. Currently, we offer TTT for our Exploring Everyday Bias and Exploring Everyday Bias for Healthcare Professionals courses and are expanding content to focus on equity based learning modules.

The TTT program is a 4-day interactive virtual course with direct support from experienced Be Equitable consultants. Our consultants have years of experience in IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) facilitation and are currently delivering the content. Participants begin as trainer candidates and complete the program as certified trainers.

Our next public TTT will take place April 8th-11th 2024. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page to contact us and learn more.

Our process

We support organizations every step of the way by providing a number of resources at the organizational and individual levels to ensure success of the TTT program:

Learning resources for the trainer candidates

Facilitation practice and teach-backs

One-on-one time with BE consultants

Interactive activities to deepen understanding of the content and practice facilitation skills

Self-assessments to measure success

Ongoing support for the organization, including tools to rollout and communicate training with trainers and future learners before, during, and after training

April 8th-11th, 2024

The Public TTT program is built to support a wide audience including individual contributors and people leaders from different organizations.

The April Public TTT offering is focused on supporting the needs of professionals looking to expand their understanding of equity.

Participants will be trained to deliver the Exploring Everyday Bias course modules. Contact us to learn more.

The private TTT program is for larger organizations who want to implement enterprise-wide training for a large group of people. This is a cost-effective method for large organizations who want to make impact. The content in the private TTT is catered to the organization’s needs.

Trainer candidates work together in a cohort model for additional trainer support. The private TTT program also offers both the standard and the healthcare versions.

Cook Ross is now BE Equitable

These past few years have been incredibly tumultuous and evolving, where we have witnessed how complex and messy our world is.

In a world of tick-a-box trainings and quick fixes, we at Be Equitable are going after something more satisfying -- we’re here for the transformations. For the forward thinkers and future leaders who know the journey is long and are still ready, we see you and we want to partner with you.

Let’s go beyond the buzzwords to create workplaces that work for people of all races, ethnicities, identities, and abilities. It won’t be neat. And it certainly won’t be simple. Our BE team is ready and committed to get it done.

As we enter this next chapter of our story, we invite you to BE bold, BE inclusive, and BE authentic to the vision you have for yourself and your organization. And together we can create workplaces that are just and equitable for all.
